Welcome to the 2026 Edition of the SNAP World Cup Competition.

SNAP, Special Needs Action Project
while also giving participants the opportunity to test their football knowledge and prediction skills against fellow competitors.

The bigger the competition, the bigger the prize fund
It is not possible to determine at this stage the number of competitors in the event, but the more people that take part, the larger the entry cost pool, the greater the sums donated to SNAP, and the larger the prize fund.
The organisers reserve the option to adjust the spread of the prize pool to further places if justified by the number of entries.
About the predictor
As many of you will be aware, the predictor has been run previously for both World Cup and Euro competitions and has been great fun for both the organisers and competitors.
The predictor is hosted on its own website and incorporates technological advances and improvements developed from experience in previous years.
For this event we will be introducing the opportunity to establish mini leagues to support seamless lower level but all
important competition and bragging rights between friends and colleagues. Please encourage your own circle of friends and family to enter.
Thank you

This year is particularly special for SNAP as they celebrate their 30th anniversary, marking three decades of supporting children and young people with additional and complex needs across the Highlands. Reaching this milestone provides a valuable opportunity to reflect on that journey, celebrate the incredible community that has grown around SNAP, and strengthen its vision for the future.
Opportunities for children and young people with additional and complex needs remain extremely limited. SNAP’s work in creating safe and inclusive spaces where children and young people can meet, connect, play and thrive is therefore more important than ever. For many families, SNAP is far more than an activity provider - it is a genuine lifeline, offering friendship, support, respite, belonging, and the reassurance that their child is understood, welcomed and valued.
The competition would also like to recognise the support of everyone who has helped bring this year’s event together.
Thanks are also extended to
PDG Aviation Services
and
Global
for sponsoring the competition, providing technical assistance, and helping to offset the running costs.
“I would personally like to thank everyone who has helped support this year’s competition. In particular, my brother Tim for his advice and contribution to the format and scoring system and my son Henry for developing the website and technology behind the competition, with fantastic support from the Business Solutions team at Global.
I’m also extremely grateful to our sponsors, PDG Aviation Services and Global for their assistance. Most importantly, thank you to everyone taking part and supporting SNAP through the competition — your generosity and enthusiasm are what make this event so special each year.”
Best of luck to all competitors, and thank you for your support.
